To cook food for the benefit of the local community

Responsibilities

Cooking a variety of meals, light bites, bakes etc. to provide to the local community.
The role may also involve supporting those who are less mobile with food and hot drinks.
Light cleaning duties

Skills & Qualities

Previous experience of cooking for large groups (up to 50)
An ability to cook a variety of dishes using the surplus foods we collect.
The person must be non-judgemental, be able to maintain confidentiality with an easy going manner and good communication skills
Level 2 - Food Hygiene for catering is desirable though if experienced, we may be able to provide this training.

Food hygiene, level 2 training with updates (mostly to be completed online)
