The purpose of a charity executive trustee is to provide leadership and guidance to the charity, and help ensure that the organization is meeting its mission and achieving its goals.

An executive trustee is an elected member of the charity's board of trustees, who are responsible for the overall governance of the organisation. As an executive trustee, their main purpose is to help make key decisions, develop and oversee the implementation of the charity's strategic plans, and ensure that the charity is run effectively and in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Some specific responsibilities of an executive trustee may include:

Providing leadership: The executive trustee is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the charity and its staff.

Strategic planning: The executive trustee may help develop and implement strategic plans that align with the charity's mission and goals.

Compliance: The executive trustee will ensure the charity is following all laws and regulations that affect the charity.

Role currently available and open to application. We are based within the centre of Consett.

Training and Support Offered/Expenses

Relevant training will be provided where needed. This role will entail working closely with the CEO which includes support within the role and development. Petrol Expenses can be claimed.
