                      'We  look  for  volunteers  with:\n\nSolid  subject  knowledge  in  the  area  they  wish  to  tutor,  which  may  be  demonstrated  by  a  degree  or  grade  B  at  A-level  qualification  (or  equivalent)  or  relevant  experience.\nThe  ability  to  explain  concepts  clearly  and  patiently.\nA  commitment  to  supporting  pupils’  academic  progress.\n\nWe  recognise  that  valuable  experience  can  be  gained  through  diverse  routes.  If  your  qualifications  differ  from  those  mentioned,  we  still  encourage  you  to  apply.  Please  highlight  any  relevant  experience  or  skills  in  your  application.\n\nWe  welcome  applications  from  volunteers  across  England,  Wales,  Scotland,  and  Northern  Ireland.  (Please  note:  This  is  a  volunteer,  unpaid  position.)\n',

                      'We  provide  all  of  our  tutors  with  initial  tutoring  training  (90  minutes  online)  and  workbooks  to  use  in  sessions.  We    also  process  a  DBS  check  for  you  if  you  don\'t  have  one.  There\'s  further  free  training  on  how  to  tutor  online  and  on-demand  training  specifically  aimed  at  English  or  maths  tutors.  When  you  sign  up  for  a  programme  to  tutor  one  hour  a  week,  you  will  receive  the  support  of  a  talented  and  dedicated  Programme  Coordinator.  You  can  sign  up  for  more  than  one  session  a  week  and  do  cover  tutoring  too  depending  on  your  schedule.\n\nTransport  to  in  person  sessions  by  public  or  private  transport  up  to  £5  per  session  can  be  reimbursed  although  all  County  Durham  partner  schools  have  their  tutoring  sessions  online.  ',
