For 40 years, Butterwick Hospice has supported local people and communities across our regions of Teesside and County Durham. We provide holistic care for children and adults living with a life-limiting illness, as well as support for their families and loved ones. We believe in embracing life’s journey with compassion and care and aim to make every day the best it can be for each of our patients and their loved ones.
If you have some spare time , why not volunteer to help us with our retail outlet at St Helen Auckland/Tindale Crescent, and do something amazing? – we would love you to join our fantastic volunteer team.
We have a range of roles available :
E-commerce volunteers - online listers, photographers, distribution
Shop floor - merchandisers, till/customer service volunteers
Stock processing volunteers - sorting, pricing, steaming
Clothing specialists
Books and media specialist
Homewares specialist
All of these roles are available, with days/hours to suit you from Monday to Sunday between 9am-7pm (10am-4pm Sunday.)

You will be part of a shop team, delivering excellent customer service - you can specialise in helping with sorting, displaying, selling merchandise or generally helping out - we have various roles for you .

No experience is required , we are primarily looking for a willingness to work , friendly nature and a drive to deliver excellent customer service.
