For 40 years, Butterwick Hospice has supported local people and communities across our regions of Teesside and County Durham. We provide holistic care for children and adults living with a life-limiting illness, as well as support for their families and loved ones. We believe in embracing life’s journey with compassion and care and aim to make every day the best it can be for each of our patients and their loved ones.

We’re hosting a Butterwick Dog Walk fundraising event at Hamsterley Forest – with participants choosing to along to walk one of two routes, the first being a 1.5mile circular route, which is easily accessible with maintained footpaths, with the second being a 3mile circular mixed terrain walk with some areas being rocky underfoot.
