Our Keeping-in-Touch team are looking for Volunteers to make one off phone calls to Carers to engage them with our support. This role requires around 3-4 hours per week which can be split up if necessary, and can also include early evenings. To be IT literate, the post also includes a DBS check and full training support. This role can make a huge difference in someone’s life by helping us to offer vital support and therefore can be very rewarding and can increase confidence or help grow or gain new skills by listening and actioning things to help Carers.

Responsibilities

Would you be interested in helping DCCS to support local unpaid Carers??
Our Keeping-in-Touch team are looking for Volunteers to make one off phone calls to Carers to re-engage them with our services via a list of questions and answers. The role would require a minimum commitment of around 3-4 hours per week and to be IT literate. The post also includes a DBS check, full training and ongoing support. This role can make a huge difference in someone’s life by helping us to offer vital support and therefore can be very rewarding.

This opportunity can be done from home or once we are able to resume face to face then can also be done from our office if you preferred. (During office hours)
