The Environment Agency are recruiting new Flood Warden Volunteers..
Flood wardens are volunteers who engage with and support their local communities before, during and after flooding. In the event of a flood event, flood wardens are our ‘eyes and ears’ on the ground. They ensure that the Environment Agency’s Flood Warning messages reach the local community. They also do important work in helping us to prepare communities in advance of any flooding so that communities know who to contact and what to do in the event of a flood.
If this sounds of interest, please register via this form - we are looking forward to hearing from you!
